About the Role

Join the CPU tooling and design automation team at NVIDIA to drive the development of CPU technology for architectures used in AI, deep learning, high-performance computing, cloud service providers, gaming, virtual reality, and autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CAD tools for CPU/Fabric teams to improve efficiency.
  • Create Network-on-Chip (NoC)/SoC tooling in collaboration with architects, chip leads, and designers.
  • Advance NoC/SoC tooling to enhance productivity.
  • Translate chip design flow knowledge into tooling feature requirements.
  • Develop complex automation using advanced graph algorithms for push-button solutions.
  • Implement cross-team solutions with Architects, RTL, PD, and other teams to meet project targets.
  • Lead cross-team methodologies for tooling deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in EDA tool development and flow development.
  • Proficiency with EDA databases and basic graph algorithms.
  • Experience with build flows like Make and scripting languages.
  • Experience deploying in-house EDA tools across groups and resolving flow issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • A drive to continuously learn and expand architectural breadth and depth.
