About the Role
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist to support the advanced weapons team. This role manages the full subcontract lifecycle for domestic and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with government regulations and program objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cradle-to-grave subcontract lifecycle including proposal support, source selection, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex subcontract agreements, NDAs, memorandums of agreement, and teaming agreements.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR regulations.
- Conduct market research to identify and assess potential subcontractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Perform cost and price analysis to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against contract terms, milestones, and KPIs.
- Implement corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Program Managers, Legal, Finance, and Engineering.
- Maintain audit-ready subcontract files and documentation.
- Coordinate with international trade compliance and logistics teams for import/export operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 8 years of experience.
- Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
- 12 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in subcontracts administration or procurement with emphasis on international suppliers.
- Demonstrated experience with FAR/DFARS and compliance requirements like ITAR/EAR.
- Proven experience negotiating complex terms and conditions with international entities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
