About the Role
As a Brand Strategist in the AIX Creative Studio, you will partner with leaders to build product expressions and coherent stories that establish cultural relevance and lasting brand equity across the AIX portfolio. You will bridge research, engineering, brand strategy, product marketing, and creative expression to ensure AIX's product stories and experiences are clear, consistent, and ambitious.
Responsibilities
- Partner with creatives, product managers, engineers, and product designers to shape distinct brand expressions and experiences within the AIX product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Creative Studio, Product Strategy, and Product Design leadership on projects defining product direction and rationale across the AIX portfolio.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing to identify opportunities for deepening in-product-to-outbound marketing expression.
- Contribute to the activation of the AIX organizational brand.
- Lead and steward the vision for integrating partnerships with creators, institutions, and brands into the product experience.
- Build prototypes for pitches to AIX Leadership and the broader organization in collaboration with the Brand Strategy Lead and Designers.
- Identify long-term opportunities and Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) by partnering with UXR, engineering, product design, and product strategy teams.
- Guide internal brief writing, provide direction to cross-group teams, and develop strategies for engaging cross-company stakeholders.
- Track brand perceptions and reporting through various studies (qualitative, quantitative) in partnership with UXR and Research & Insights teams to support AIX strategy.
- Commission studies with agencies to support research and insight identification as needed.
- Monitor brand performance and impact, identifying emerging opportunities across the company and AIX portfolio.
Requirements
- 6+ years of work experience in a branding agency or with product marketing, brand building, and/or strategy development, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of brand/creative strategy and communications/connections strategy experience, including brief writing and/or managing strategy on the corporate or agency side.
- 6+ years of communications/connections planning experience building integrated campaigns that bring brands into culture.
- Strong insight into the AI discourse, tensions, and implications across various cultural areas (media, arts, etc.).
- Experience with vibe-coding and building prototypes.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity; the role will define its own shape.
- Luxury, lifestyle, or entertainment experience preferred.
- 6+ years of experience managing projects, including internal stakeholder management, timelines, prioritization, and road mapping.
- A strategic mindset, balancing short- and long-term goals, and translating business objectives into brand solutions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, able to articulate and justify ideas and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
- A collaborative and inclusive work style, able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different levels and functions.
- A customer-centric and empathetic approach, understanding and anticipating the needs and preferences of target audiences.
- A growth mindset and curiosity for learning, willing to experiment, iterate, and adapt to changing environments and feedback.

- USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)

- USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
