About the Role
The product team is launching new trades, features, and fixes constantly. This role will sit between engineering and customer-facing teams to verify fixes, ensure launches are communicated clearly, and manage the day-to-day status of projects.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day truth of Linear, ensuring tickets have accurate statuses and meet target dates.
- Independently verify that "fixed" tickets are actually resolved before closure or communication.
- Write and send clear, specific launch communications for every release to customers and internal teams.
- Build and manage a standard launch checklist to ensure marketing and CS are informed before releases.
- Coordinate directly with Platform engineers on active projects.
- Flag risk and slippage early in the product team's weekly rhythm.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer-reported issues that engineers deem resolved.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in a role combining technical coordination with customer-facing communication (e.g., Implementation, CS Ops, QA, release coordination).
- Fluent in Linear or Jira.
- Ability to write technical updates for engineers and plain language updates for customers.
- Comfortable pushing back on "it's fixed" claims constructively.
- Enjoys verification and follow-through.
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
- Experience at a Series A–C startup with no dedicated QA team (nice to have).
- Background in construction tech, PropTech, or a technical B2B product (nice to have).
- Experience building a launch or release process from scratch (nice to have).
