About the Role
This is a full time, 3 month contract with an immediate start and strong potential for extension. You will take ownership of end to end payroll, ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time. In doing so, you will directly support the teams delivering care across our communities every day. You will be joining a close knit, supportive team in a flexible hybrid environment where your expertise will be valued from day one.
Responsibilities
- Managing end to end fortnightly payroll
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, and agreements
- Processing timesheets, leave, and salary adjustments
- Calculating overtime, penalties, and allowances
- Maintaining payroll data accuracy and integrity
- Responding to payroll queries professionally and efficiently
- Supporting audits, reporting, and HR processes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar payroll role
- Experience with iChris (or Chris21) highly regarded
- Exposure to Humanforce is a bonus
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and awards
- Aged care experience highly regarded
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Strong communication skills and team focus
- Integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
- Undertake a National Criminal History Check
