About the Role

The Commercial Finance Manager will join the Structural Heart Division, providing high-level decision support, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for the Structural Heart business across ANZ and APAC. This role is key to driving business success and shaping the future within an exceptional culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality financial information and advice, including budget preparation and accounting strategies for senior stakeholders.
• Identify, implement, and review effective internal financial planning processes and controls.
• Perform financial reporting, including standardized Abbott Structural Heart reporting, and analyze/communicate financial results with clear insights.
• Build financial and commercial awareness within the business and partner with the Country Manager to implement sales strategies that increase market share and operating income.
• Define and implement best practice planning and control techniques aligned with business needs.
• Assist marketing in analyzing market intelligence and share results against objectives for complex medical device portfolios.
• Lead and drive new projects across ANZ and Asia Pacific to foster innovation and establish ANZ as a leading organization.
• Analyze, prepare, and submit new tenders and customer agreements, monitoring contract/tender compliance from a pricing perspective.
• Support and partner with the Country Manager and Regional Sales Leaders to drive corporate agreements with key hospital stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting-related work experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals, including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Working knowledge and experience in the Healthcare and Medical device industry.
• Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, and commercial acumen.
• Evidence of an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to simplify complex situations, synthesize, communicate, and present complex information.
• Ability to be self-motivated, insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, proactive, collaborative, and consultative.
• Ability to influence those outside your span of control.
