About the Role
Provide commercial support and strategic financial leadership across Endeavour Group's 350+ hotels business. Act as a key commercial partner to the Head of Business Excellence and support the Head of Finance in partnering with the GM Hospitality. Directly lead and empower a team of three Finance Business Partners (FBPs). Play a central role in driving venue sales, labour, EBITDAR, and non-financial metrics by delivering clear analysis and actionable commercial advice.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage weekly and monthly performance reporting, turning complex financial data into clear, concise insights.
- Lead detailed analysis and recommendations across sales strategies and cost controls to optimize business performance.
- Manage venue-level incentive programs in close partnership with Operations leadership and the People Team.
- Collaborate with the Business Excellence team to identify optimization initiatives, track delivery, and embed sustainable improvements.
- Lead the preparation and submission of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and operational ownership.
- Monitor performance against plan, establishing early warning signals to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage, coach, and support three direct reports (FBPs) to foster a high-performing, inclusive team environment.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset by streamlining current reporting, improving systems/processes, and introducing innovative analytical tools.
- Strengthen ways of working across Operations, Commercial, FP&A, Network Performance, and Renewals teams.
Requirements
- CA or CPA Qualification.
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within the hospitality, hotels, or retail operations sectors.
- Proven track record in managing direct reports and driving positive team culture.
- Proficiency across financial systems and tools including Excel (advanced), SAP, Tableau, TM1 Forecasting & Budgeting, and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional financial modelling, data analysis, and storyboarding skills to synthesize high-volume data into clear business insights.
- Ability to make the complex simple and communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Adaptable and composed under pressure, with an ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments and champion continuous improvement.
- Strong focus on finding root-cause solutions and collaborating cross-functionally across the Group.
