About the Role

As a strategic leader reporting to the General Manager, APAC, you will shape and execute go-to-market (GTM) activities for SMB and Mid-Market/Corporate segments across ANZ, Southeast Asia, Asia, and Korea. You will lead a high-velocity sales team, partner with cross-functional leaders, and leverage expertise in scaled sales motions to drive pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong community of customers, partners, and employees across the ANZ, SEA, Asia, and Korea markets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy for revenue growth and market penetration across the SMB and Mid-Market/Corporate segments.
  • Partner with Customer Success to build a scalable, tech-enabled coverage model that drives new logo acquisition and expansion revenue.
  • Lead, inspire, and collaborate with sales and matrixed teams to operationalize a repeatable playbook that fuels pipeline velocity, forecasting accuracy, and deal rigour.
  • Hire, nurture, and develop top sales talent across a high-throughput sales organization, building clear career paths and succession plans.
  • Act as a senior executive representative for Asana with customers, partners, channel partners, and media across the region.
  • Create strong feedback loops with the Product team to influence product evolution, particularly around self-serve to sales-assisted conversion and AI-powered product adoption.
  • Evolve the Account Team Playbook to support SMB and Mid-Market/Corporate growth, ensuring alignment across SDRs, Sales, Success, Channel, and Services.
  • Build and mature channel and partner motions where they materially extend coverage and pipeline generation across under-penetrated markets.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them.
  • People-centric leader with a track record of managing high-volume, high-velocity sales teams.
  • Proven experience managing dedicated SMB and/or Mid-Market/Corporate sales teams and consistently hitting revenue targets in an enterprise tech or SaaS environment.
  • Deep background in scaled, transactional-to-mid-complexity sales motions, with a strong understanding of shorter sales cycles, higher deal volume, and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling high-performing SMB/Mid-Market sales teams across APAC or comparable multi-market regions.
  • Track record of building and refining segmentation, territory design, and coverage models to maximize productivity across a large book of accounts.
  • Proven capability to scale sales organizations and drive consistent bookings, ARR, and logo growth across commercial segments, including via channel and partner leverage.
  • Deep experience navigating growth strategies within both product-led (self-serve, PLG) and sales-led business models, and building the muscle to convert between them.
  • Operationally strong, with the ability to independently build robust GTM, operating rhythm, and talent development plans.
  • Intellectually curious, analytical, and naturally open-minded, with a passion for solving complex regional coverage and productivity challenges.
  • A highly collaborative partner, comfortable navigating cross-functional, matrixed environments alongside Product, Marketing, and Channel teams.
  • A low-ego leader who builds trust and influence through thoughtful communication, coaching over inspection, and high-quality execution.
