About the Role
As our Highway Hauler, you'll transport dumpster trucks and equipment safely between locations, help keep our operation running smoothly, and make sure our fleet is always where it needs to be. You'll be the link between our drivers, dispatch team, and customers-bringing reliability, professionalism, and a little road-warrior spirit to every trip.
Responsibilities
- Transport roll-off trucks and equipment to designated locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatch on schedules, routes, and deliveries
- Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and transport activities
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures
- Represent Oaks professionally wherever the road takes you
Requirements
- Valid CDL required
- Experience driving commercial vehicles
- Familiarity with roll-off trucks or heavy equipment transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Safety-minded with a strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed
