About the Role

The position works to secure food and related supplies to support all food services activities in the department. Responsibilities include inventory and ingredient control and forecasting for food production, formula room, retail food service, and catering. The incumbent will actively cross-train in all food service units to provide relief supervisory coverage in assigned areas and uphold food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The person in this position is expected to learn HBS Payroll, Computrition, EMS room management software, Reserve for catering, Point of sale and temperature monitoring software to manage systems and staff, and participate in department problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and ingredient control.
  • Forecast for food production, formula room, retail food service, and catering.
  • Cross-train in all food service units to provide relief supervisory coverage.

  • Learn and manage HBS Payroll, Computrition, EMS room management software, Reserve for catering, Point of sale and temperature monitoring software.
  • Participate in department problem solving.

Requirements
