About the Role

The Clinical Research Coordinator I assists in the daily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent, and collects, maintains, and organizes study information. This role also assists in preparing grant applications and documents for Institutional Review Board and Grants and Contracts Office.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and records study data and inputs all information into a database.
  • Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision and educates participants on study requirements.
  • Assists with clinical research study activities, including answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, registering subjects, and administering lifestyle questionnaires.
  • Assists in preparing grant applications and IRB/GCO for submission and filings.
  • Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.
  • Ensures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews.
  • Secures, delivers, and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
  • Prepares for monitoring visits.
  • Performs other related duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Science or a closely related field.
  • No experience required; one year of research experience preferred.
  • Industry-sponsored clinical trials experience preferred.
  • Regulatory experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations

  • $58661 - $73530 Annually
