About the Role

As an Associate on Citi's Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Corporate Banking team, you will work directly alongside senior bankers on multi-billion dollar transactions, manage credit and capital approval processes, and develop deep sector expertise. This front-office, high-growth coverage role offers significant client exposure and a fast track to becoming a well-rounded banking professional.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key relationship management partner to Senior Bankers across a portfolio of leading A&D clients
  • Drive client pitches across cash management, trading, FX, loans, debt capital markets, share repurchase, and interest rate and equity derivatives
  • Evaluate public filings, research reports, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce sharp strategic and financial analyses
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market best practices to keep clients and the team ahead of the curve
  • Coordinate and lead credit and capital committee processes from initiation to approval

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or a related field
  • Strong credit, corporate finance, accounting and capital markets knowledge
  • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, in writing and in person, with audiences at every level
  • A process-oriented mindset – you can keep multiple workstreams moving simultaneously, and know how to align stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
  • Series 63, 79 and SIE licenses strongly preferred
