About the Role

Baker Tilly is seeking an International Tax Senior Associate to join their growing International Tax practice. This role involves collaborating with a global team to address complex international tax challenges for middle-market companies, focusing on compliance, planning, structuring, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and global mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of international tax services including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax credit, international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, outbound and inbound structure planning and cross-border transactions.
  • Work on multiple international tax engagements and contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning and consulting projects for diverse clients.
  • Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with Baker Tilly member firms around the world.
  • Help provide technical guidance to tax professionals firm wide.
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
  • Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree, license eligible required.
  • 3 years of International Tax experience required.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
  • Interest in pursuing CPA, MST or JD/LLM preferred.
  • An eagerness to work on a variety of International tax projects.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred.

Experience Level

  • 3 years of International Tax experience

  • Four-year degree

Salary/Compensations

  • $81,450 to $154,430
