Responsibilities

  • Conduct training for clinical and non-clinical end users in Epic.
  • Conduct training in the classroom and in the practice.
  • Achieve an in-depth understanding of the software, policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Be credentialed in the application being taught.
  • Setup and breakdown of training classes, including inventorying and distributing participant supplies.
  • Perform quality control, including administering proficiency assessments and class evaluations.
  • Forward ideas to improve training effectiveness.
  • Employ excellent communication skills in sharing information with users within the department.

Requirements

  • An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clinical Experience.
  • Adult Education Experience.
  • Microsoft Office Experience.
  • Webex Experience.
  • Level 1: At least 2 years of relevant clinical, technical, educational, or operational experience.
  • Level 2: At least 5 years of relevant clinical, technical, educational, or operational experience and Epic Credential within 1 year of hire.
  • Level 3: Greater than 5 years of relevant clinical, technical, or operational experience and Epic certification at time of hire.

  • Epic Trainer Credentialed (preferred but not required; will train the right candidate)
