About the Role
LCRA's Substation Engineering group plays a key role in maintaining and advancing LCRA's substation infrastructure, ensuring reliable electricity and supporting communities across Texas. This role contributes to strengthening the power grid, increasing asset efficiency and longevity, and positively impacting Texans.
Responsibilities
- Develop design projects with sophisticated elements, applying industry standards and established procedures.
- Conduct engineering studies using group expertise.
- Collaborate to establish comprehensive design criteria and standards.
- Investigate, assess, and resolve engineering issues.
- Propose innovative practices and procedures to optimize performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
- Driver's license
