About the Role

Linktree is seeking a staff product marketing leader to define its presence for businesses and drive growth in customer acquisition and paid conversions. This role owns the positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy for Linktree's business products, including SMB tools and Workspaces. The position is commercial in focus, aiming to increase business customer acquisition, conversion to paid plans, and expansion over time. As a staff role, you will also shape the product marketing function by establishing frameworks, building cross-functional relationships, and setting standards for business product marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve positioning and messaging for the full business suite across business types, team sizes, and use cases.
  • Build a differentiated narrative for Workspaces that lands the value of multi-profile, multi-seat management with target buyers and users.
  • Speak to the distinct needs of each business segment, from entrepreneurs to agencies and brands.
  • Ensure the business story is a natural and credible extension of Linktree's broader brand.
  • Identify high-leverage acquisition, upgrade, and expansion moments, and build messaging and in-product storytelling to capture them.
  • Partner with CRM and lifecycle teams on journeys to move businesses from trial to habitual use, paid plans, and seat expansion.
  • Work with data teams to track funnels, identify friction points, and iterate on positioning and onboarding to shorten time-to-value.
  • Develop self-serve education assets to help businesses understand, choose, and buy Linktree products.
  • Build deep, research-backed personas for Linktree's business segments.
  • Influence roadmap priorities with business user demand, competitive gaps, and strategic opportunity signals.
  • Establish frameworks for evaluating new business features, packaging decisions, and tier differentiation.
  • Act as the voice of the business user in product, growth, and commercial conversations.
  • Own end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) for business-focused launches.
  • Define launch strategy across audience segmentation, channel approach, messaging hierarchy, and success metrics.
  • Partner with content, brand, and growth marketing to tell credible, specific, and outcome-oriented launch stories.
  • Build repeatable playbooks for future business launches.
  • Maintain a clear view of the business-facing link-in-bio and multi-profile management landscape, plus adjacent tools.
  • Synthesize competitive intelligence, analyst signals, and business user feedback into positioning updates and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify and defend the territory where Linktree is uniquely positioned to win business users at scale.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across product, growth, brand, and community teams to ensure consistent business messaging.
  • Support localization and global expansion of business features with adaptable positioning.
  • Help internal teams articulate why Linktree is the right choice for businesses.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing, with significant experience in B2B, SMB, or multi-seat and team-based products.
  • Track record of leading GTM for complex launches and driving measurable outcomes across acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Fluency in business purchasing dynamics, including longer consideration cycles, multi-stakeholder involvement, and the need for ROI clarity.
  • Experience building segment personas that influence product and GTM decisions.
  • Confident strategic voice, comfortable pushing back on product direction and advocating for the segment.
  • Analytical mindset connecting product and marketing performance data to positioning and roadmap influence.
  • Ability to lead across functions without formal authority, building alignment and moving quickly.
  • Experience at a high-growth consumer or SMB platform is a strong plus.
