About the Role
Swissotel Sydney is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Coordinator to join their team. This role involves allocating daily staff worksheets, updating room status and maintenance requirements, managing lost property, and handling guest inquiries and complaints.
Responsibilities
- Allocate daily staff work sheets using both HubOS and Opera Cloud.
- Update with Supervisors and staff regarding room status and maintenance requirement using Opera Cloud and internal systems.
- Manage and control Lost Property.
- Answer all calls into department in a courteous manner.
- Respond to all enquiries professionally and endeavour to resolve all guest queries in a timely manner.
- Manage and resolve all minor guest complaint as per hotel policy and within the coordinator delegation of authority.
Requirements
- Efficient time management skills and able to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
- Enjoy working within a diverse team and autonomously.
- Genuine driver and innovator, commitment to guest service and excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work over a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
- Full working rights in Australia.
