About the Role
Drive the seamless adoption, understanding, and commercial success of new AI-driven Range Review capabilities by serving as an AI Literacy Change Agent and strategic bridge between technology and front-line category teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an AI Literacy Change Agent, translating complex data intelligence into practical habits that elevate digital confidence.
- Design and deliver engaging training programs and resources for commercial squads to utilize new platforms for range cycles.
- Partner with Change Management specialists to define roles, maintain momentum, and connect stakeholders to the transformation vision.
- Develop and execute localized implementation plans to minimize disruption and scale utilization of new range tools.
- Support stakeholder readiness assessments to identify friction points and foster advocacy.
- Establish and track engagement KPIs to ensure business maximizes tool value and links user adoption to range health and space productivity.
- Act as a bidirectional feedback loop, translating category nuances to developers and communicating enhancements back to the business.
- Consolidate ground-level feedback to collaborate with technical squads on prioritizing future software features.
- Validate that range recommendations and reporting outputs are practical, commercial, and trusted by the business unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, HR, Communications, or a related field.
- Several years of experience within retail buying, category management, or category functions.
- Deep, first-hand understanding of how range reviews are executed, from initial assortment strategy to final shelf implementation.
- Proven track record of supporting or driving process changes, system implementations, or new ways of working within a commercial team.
- Master communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills, able to present complex project information simply and engagingly.
- Natural collaborator who builds trust and influences across complex matrix structures without direct authority.
- Empathetic coach passionate about mentoring and empowering peers, guiding teams through operational habit shifts.
- Resilient and navigational, thriving in fluid, fast-paced environments and remaining composed under pressure.
- Balances data-driven insights with real-world retail realities, keeping customer experience central to range decisions.
- Highly autonomous self-starter with a growth mindset, viewing change as an opportunity to innovate.
- Previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on strategic corporate initiatives or cross-functional agile squads is highly regarded.
- Experience helping traditional business units adapt to agile frameworks and data-led decision-making is highly regarded.
