About the Role
The Service Porter is an essential part of the team that keeps our service drive running smoothly and serves as a genuine launching pad into the automotive industry for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Move and stage vehicles between the lot, service bays, and the service drive safely, efficiently, and with care.
- Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly, professional presence.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department.
- Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and staging to keep the workflow moving.
- Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed.
- Navigate the downtown San Francisco environment confidently, including parking, staging, and moving vehicles.
- Support the service team with general tasks that keep the department operating at full speed.
Requirements
- No prior automotive experience required; training provided.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable and confident driving in San Francisco.
- Able to remain on your feet and stay active throughout your shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right.
- Professional and composed with guests.
