About the Role
We are looking for an engineer excited about building high-performance distributed systems, putting the GraphQL spec into practice, and shaping how modern platforms are built. In this role, you will design, build, and develop the core GraphQL platform, including the router, schema workflows, and supporting infrastructure. You will also provide technical support and guidance to platform users, collaborate with multiple engineering teams to increase developer productivity, and optimize existing observability and monitoring solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and develop the core GraphQL platform, including the router, schema workflows, and supporting infrastructure
- Provide technical support and guidance to platform users
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to find solutions to best increase developer productivity
- Optimize existing observability and monitoring solutions
- Participate in code reviews to assess overcall code quality and flexibility
- Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team.
- Leverage AI to modernize our platform tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience and 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in large-scale or enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience developing features with Rust or Kotlin and a solid understanding of API design in GraphQL services
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, high-throughput applications.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platform like AWS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, or GitHub Actions.
