About the Role
Join one of the fastest-growing independently owned distributors in Northern California as a full-time Warehouse Associate II, supporting our San Francisco, CA branch.
Responsibilities
- Pulling/picking tickets
- Restocking shelves correctly, maintaining bin locations and labels, and returning stock to proper locations
- Assisting sales staff in locating parts
- Preparing orders for shipment by boxing and labeling items accurately
- Operating wire machine according to procedure
- Operating forklift to move pallets and other heavy materials
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free shipping area, warehouse aisles, walkway, pipe yard, and parking lot
- Assisting sales counter associates when needed
- Assisting drivers with backup delivery driving
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to pass Forklift certification training
- Detail-oriented
- Receiving and Put away experience
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Overtime may be required as needed
