About the Role

The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for integrating environmental health & safety services into business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned Project. This role involves direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Executives, and Area/Regional EHS Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Integration of environmental health & safety services into business practices.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned Project.
  • Oversight of environmental health & safety services for assigned Project.
  • Direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager, Project Executive and Area / Regional EHS Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety / Health, an engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of training and related experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Understanding of basic management approaches including work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
  • Advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
