KIPP NYC is seeking passionate teachers who can inspire and educate students, fostering both academic and character development to prepare them for college and future success.

Responsibilities

• Teach a rigorous college preparatory curriculum aligned with school and New York State standards.
• Deliver high-quality and engaging instruction.
• Collaborate with a team of teachers for continuous professional and personal growth.
• Utilize data to inform instructional decisions.
• Continuously assess student progress and communicate findings to families and colleagues.
• Provide individualized or small group instruction to students needing extra support.
• Model KIPP NYC's character strengths in all interactions.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills conducive to a collegial working environment.

• New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area.
