About the Role

As part of a mandatory internship, you will gain initial experience in industry-related research within the field of manufacturing technologies. You will support mechanical processing, particularly with CNC machine tools, and contribute to current research and development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support mechanical processing, particularly preparation and processing with CNC machine tools.
  • Work on current research and development projects.
  • Analyze the state of the art and market situation.
  • Identify potential suppliers, dimension required system components, and design them independently.
  • Engage in diverse tasks including manufacturing, design, FE simulation, and programming.
  • Operate CNC machine tools.
  • Plan, set up, and evaluate experimental series.
  • Assist and support current research and development projects.
  • Research relevant topics and process results.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant course of study.
  • Interest in mechanical processing and CNC machine tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
