About the Role
As part of a mandatory internship, you will gain initial experience in industry-related research within the field of manufacturing technologies. You will support mechanical processing, particularly with CNC machine tools, and contribute to current research and development projects.
Responsibilities
- Support mechanical processing, particularly preparation and processing with CNC machine tools.
- Work on current research and development projects.
- Analyze the state of the art and market situation.
- Identify potential suppliers, dimension required system components, and design them independently.
- Engage in diverse tasks including manufacturing, design, FE simulation, and programming.
- Operate CNC machine tools.
- Plan, set up, and evaluate experimental series.
- Assist and support current research and development projects.
- Research relevant topics and process results.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant course of study.
- Interest in mechanical processing and CNC machine tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
