About the Role

Meta is seeking a skilled Product Designer to shape product futures. You will ensure products and features are valuable, easy to use, and well-crafted. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional and AI research teams to build products addressing user needs and driving transformational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate broad concepts into useful and valuable features for over 2 billion users, driving product strategy and innovation.
• Design end-to-end flows impacting users at scale using appropriate prototyping tools.
• Drive design prioritization and execution to meet accelerated timelines.
• Design new experiences or layouts that evolve visual systems.
• Communicate strategic decisions regarding Meta product direction.
• Provide and receive feedback to improve product quality and mentor team members.
• Act as a cross-functional lead, managing initiative success and operational processes.
• Influence and align product direction across multiple organizations and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software at company-level scale.
• Experience leading end-to-end experiences within large-scale, ambiguous domains.
• Interaction design experience, including defining and evangelizing behavior based on user needs and scalability.
• Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense.
• Strategic product thinking, including developing product goals and identifying global market opportunities.
• Experience making decisions based on impact to people and the company.
• Experience presenting work to executives, clearly communicating goals and concepts.
