About the Role

S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) is seeking a Redistribution Lead to support the RatingsXpress product management team. This role will focus on optimizing the market strategy for redistributing ratings content via third parties in EMEA and APAC, serving various customer segments. The individual will support pricing and contractual terms, business strategy development, client base analysis, and price optimization for new licensing opportunities. This position is critical in shaping how S&P Global distributes its credit content globally, influencing pricing, commercial models, and partner strategies to ensure sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Structure deals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of deals and quotes.
  • Maintain summaries of vendor/partner relationships and contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with Commercial Teams and Product Managers to deliver redistribution solutions.
  • Collaborate internally to design and deliver training on redistribution best practices.
  • Understand the market data ecosystem and connect commercial activity to business strategy.
  • Own vendor and partner engagement models, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage analytical insights to assess market opportunities and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate across regions and functions to ensure alignment on commercial initiatives.
  • Operate with autonomy, managing priorities and delivering against objectives with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including financial information/market data vendor relationship management, sales, contract negotiations, and market data management.
  • Experience in complex and creative commercial deal negotiation.
  • Aptitude for reviewing, revising, and authoring deal proposals.
  • Solid knowledge of the financial information and market data industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep analytical mindset and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of fixed income/investing/risk workflows.
  • Ability to operate within complex commercial environments and make informed decisions.
  • Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and ability to make sound commercial decisions.
  • Forward-looking mindset, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Must attend at least one in-person interview at the nearest S&P Global office during the final stage of the interview process.
