About the Role

The Manager, HRIS and People Analytics is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing success of DaBella’s Workday platform and related People systems. This role serves as the primary functional lead for Workday, ensuring the system supports business operations through effective configuration, process improvement, automation, reporting, and strong data integrity. While Workday has been implemented, significant opportunities remain to improve functionality, reduce manual processes, strengthen payroll operations, and enhance the overall employee and manager experience. This position will perform hands-on configuration, partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Information Technology, and business leaders to improve system functionality, and leverage external consultants when specialized expertise is required. The Manager will lead the HR Technology team, establish priorities, develop technical capability, and ensure Workday and related People systems effectively support the needs of the business. This role is responsible for building team capability, improving day-to-day operations, and continually enhancing the organization’s HR technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional lead for Workday, overseeing day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing system optimization.
  • Perform hands-on configuration within Workday, primarily supporting Core HCM and related modules.
  • Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, reports, calculated fields, workflows, and other system functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system usability, eliminate manual processes, and increase automation.
  • Coordinate Workday releases, including testing, validation, deployment, and end-user communication.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve configuration-related defects, and partner with Workday Support or external consultants on more complex technical issues.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of employee data within Workday.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Finance, Information Technology, and business leaders to improve business processes through effective use of Workday.
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend practical system improvements that increase efficiency and reduce administrative effort.
  • Support the continued enhancement of Workday modules, including Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Performance, Benefits, and Learning, based on business priorities.
  • Work alongside external consultants on larger enhancement projects while maintaining ownership of day-to-day system administration and internal configuration.
  • Document system processes, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide leaders with timely and accurate workforce information.
  • Improve reporting capabilities and promote consistent data governance across the organization.
  • Support reporting related to headcount, turnover, recruiting, compensation, payroll, compliance, and other workforce metrics.
  • Analyze workforce data and recommend operational improvements based on system insights.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR Technology team responsible for HRIS administration, reporting, data integrity, and system support.
  • Establish clear expectations, prioritize workloads, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Evaluate team responsibilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.
  • Foster collaboration across Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Information Technology, and other business functions to support organizational priorities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, customer service, and operational excellence.

Requirements
