About the Role
Act as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective BI solutions using a variety of analysis and reporting tools. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand and leverage Landal’s datasets, establish standards and templates, and promote best practices across the organization. Develop and maintain high-quality analytics data models, BI reports, and semantic layers that power data-driven decisions across Finance, Commerce, and Operations. The Analytics Engineer works hands-on in Databricks, DBT, and Power BI to translate raw data into reliable, well-documented assets contributing to our Customer 360 initiative, marketing attribution models, and cost-to-LTV analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain DBT data models in Databricks, ensuring data quality, performance, and documentation standards are met.
- Help integrating customer touchpoints across marketing, commerce, and operations.
- Support the development and maintenance of multi-touch attribution (MTA) models and assist in laying the groundwork for MMM.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and metric definitions that serve business stakeholders.
- Write and optimise SQL transformations and work with Data Engineers on ingestion pipelines across Azure and GCP.
- Follow version control, CI/CD, and documentation standards using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Work closely with the Lead Analytics Engineer and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
- Proactively monitor data accuracy and flag integrity issues in analytical models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Business Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.
- Ideally you have some understanding of AI applied analytics, such as Databricks Genie.
- Proven experience in querying, analyzing, and managing large datasets.
- Strong experience in dashboard development and data visualization, with understanding of data relationships.
- Hands-on experience creating comprehensive business reports and interactive dashboards.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Analytical skills for interpreting critical and complex data sets.
- Must be residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
