About the Role
As an Associate Director on OMD’s Marketing Science team, you will manage resources, implement process improvements, and mentor analysts. You will also collaborate with media planners and strategists to shape client marketing strategies using data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Participate in measurement plan development and execution.
- Establish thought leadership in analytics, research, and ad-technology.
- Ensure analytics efforts yield clear, compelling, and actionable insights.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively develop solutions.
- Ensure timely follow-through on all deliverables.
- Generate and communicate clear, compelling, and actionable insights.
- Manage engagement between Marketing Science and internal/external teams.
- Recommend and implement research to aid consumer insight gathering and strategic processes.
- Provide thought leadership on ad-tech and measurement technologies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and train analysts.
- Present reports, POVs, and other materials to clients regularly.
- Provide high-level oversight during client presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Social Sciences, or Business/Marketing related fields (advanced degree preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in a quantitative data-driven field.
- Passion for digital marketing, research, and analytics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of paid media strategy and media analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well with others and in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ad technologies and research techniques.
- Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ predictive & prescriptive analytics.
- Ability to set individual goals for analysts and measure performance.
- Ability to identify quality or workload issues and re-allocate resources.
- Leading, mentoring, and training analysts.
- Delegating and managing projects, creating learning agendas, and opportunities for junior staff.
