About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will be an integral part of the North America Sales team, collaborating with Account Executives and building your career through Aircall's Sales Career Track. This fast-paced role is an ideal entry point into SaaS sales, focusing on prospecting, qualifying potential customers, and potentially moving into an outbound closing role. We seek individuals with passion, drive, ambition, and commitment, excited by Aircall's growth trajectory and significant earning potential, including uncapped commission. This is a hybrid role based in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Uncover and create well-qualified new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and utilizing Salesforce.
- Create and execute outbound campaigns (emails, calls) to book demos/meetings with relevant leads.
- Research and prospect ideal customers, gathering key lead information through open-ended questions and thoughtful conversations.
- Understand the business needs and buying cycle of leads, building and nurturing preliminary relationships.
- Work closely with Account Executives and the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Represent Aircall with integrity and professionalism, highlighting the value proposition and key selling points.
- Utilize Salesforce and other tools for daily activity and process management.
Requirements
- Skilled communicator with clear, direct, consultative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in a customer-facing role (sales, waiting tables, bartending, retail, campus services, phone banking, or tech/SaaS company).
- Team spirit mindset with a desire to continuously grow and learn.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, adapting to situations calmly.
- Leadership experience in campus organizations, philanthropy, or team sports is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and superior time management.
- Ability to be autonomous, take initiative, and own success.
