About the Role
Vince is seeking a dynamic, customer service driven Part-Time Sales Associate for an extended temporary position from August through January. The role focuses on generating sales, building customer relationships, and maintaining store standards.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of merchandise features and benefits.
- Quickly identify customer needs and overcome objections.
- Develop client relationships through follow-up contact via phone, email, and written communication.
- Maintain store housekeeping and visual standards.
- Operate POS register and email systems.
- Safeguard store inventory by adhering to loss prevention programs.
- Follow all store operational policies and procedures.
- Manage client books and clienteling.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Must be sales-driven, goal-oriented, and personable.
- Must possess a positive, high-energy, friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
- Must be willing to initiate contact with customers and identify their needs.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess computer skills to operate retail POS system, Word, Excel, and email.
- Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 35 pounds when merchandising the sales floor.
