About the Role
The Private Equity Group (PEG) is seeking a Vice President for its New York office to source, underwrite, and execute private equity secondary investments, with a focus on GP-led opportunities, and contribute to the broader PEG platform.
Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in the sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of private equity secondary investments, with a focus on GP-led opportunities.
- Manage all aspects of transactions, including deal sourcing, diligence, approval, negotiation and execution.
- Represent the PEG in the investment community at annual meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Train Associates and Analysts throughout the entire investment life cycle.
- Support business development and fundraising efforts involving the secondary investment strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, including multiple years of private equity secondary investing experience (both GP-led and LP experience preferred).
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude.
