About the Role
The GCS Control Management Risk ID, Assessment, Testing and Reporting team is seeking a Senior Manager-Commercial Effectiveness & Governance. This role focuses on embedding control management into daily operations through collaboration with various business units, functional areas, and geographies. The objective is to identify, assess, mitigate, and report on operational risk within GCS processes to ensure regulatory adherence, compliance with Amex policy, and enhance business resilience.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and report on Operational Risk within BU processes for GCS.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and Amex policy.
- Enhance BU resilience through managing a clear methodology of inherent and residual risk.
- Ensure control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of the organization.
- Collaborate extensively with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.
