About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator will manage social media channels, develop strategic marketing plans for the North American market, and organize industry event participation for Doppelmayr USA.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate company advertising in industry publications and digital platforms.
- Assist with press release distribution, connect with media outlets, and maintain a current media contact list.
- Coordinate with sales team on promotional materials, apparel, and brand development.
- Maintain promotional material inventory.
- Ensure marketing materials and communications align with company branding standards.
- Coordinate logistics and planning activities for industry trade shows, conferences, customer events, and sales meetings.
- Manage booth preparations, marketing collateral, promotional material, and event communications.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and event support for sales team members.
- Attend industry events and assist as needed.
- Maintain productive relationships with industry organizations, vendors, customers, and external partners.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute content strategies across social media channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Engage with customer-generated content on social media channels.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to highlight new installations, products, services, and project milestones.
- Partner with Human Resources to promote career opportunities, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment campaigns.
- Assist VP of Sales managing marketing budget.
- Act as liaison and facilitator of partner sponsorships.
- Work closely with Doppelmayr Group marketing team to ensure brand continuity at Doppelmayr USA subsidiary.
- Be curious about ropeway industry marketing trends and topics related to Doppelmayr goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans.
- Support and collaborate with sales team on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, English, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant marketing, communications, or digital marketing experience with a bachelor’s degree; OR 0-2 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Experience working within the mountain resort, outdoor recreations, transportation, construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Previous experience in professional business-to-business (B2B) marketing environment.
- A basic understanding of ropeway applications is a plus.
- Fluency in German is a plus.
- Experiences supporting trade shows, events and marketing campaigns.
