About the Role
The Risk Products team within Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) enables customer-focused capabilities for Card and Non-Card products. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create analytical capabilities and solutions that minimize risk and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Defining a clear and innovative product vision, creating and executing product roadmap, and communicating thoroughly with stakeholders.
- Support development of next generation software products and solutions to solve risk management needs using latest tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with multiple risk strategy partners, technology teams and other product teams to build & iterate on products that directly impact millions of customers and prospects.
- Manage the implementation of risk products, drive global, reusable & configurable design, prioritization, rationalization/globalization, feature development, testing, integration, and product launch using low-code tools.
- Coordinating calls with cross-functional teams to help define product features, user stories, and business requirements.
- Hosting daily stand-up meetings with technology partners and resolving any issues that arise during development.
- Analyzing data to assess products’ performance and make data-driven decisions regarding the product’s future state.
- Participating in team meetings, planning sessions, building relationships, and gathering insights across business functions.
- Creating decks, product requirement documentation, and status updates for leadership.
- Sharing insights, gathering feedback, and providing recommendations to leaders through presentation or reports.
- Identify, design, and solution reusable/global components within the risk product ecosystem.
- Support discovery of current state product & create a solution to eliminate existing inefficiencies/pain points.
- Analyze end-to-end core product delivery processes to optimize operating models and produce best practice documentation for product development teams.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in full-time bachelor’s degree program
- Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
