About the Role
The Senior Director, Global Connected Media Strategy will architect media strategies to position Coca-Cola brands at the forefront of cultural and technological relevance. This role involves shaping the future of media by harnessing data, consumer intelligence, and emerging technologies like AI to create globally scalable media frameworks that connect people to brands in measurable ways. It is for a growth-minded, future-focused leader who thrives on complexity, innovation, and impact, aiming to make media a seamless link among content, commerce, and culture.
Responsibilities
- Shape the future of Connected Media Model Strategy as an engine of brand/company growth.
- Support the development of the global media vision to strengthen brand relevance and ensure brands remain contemporary and culturally connected.
- Challenge established thinking and identify new opportunities supporting consumer exposure, engagement and transaction.
- Work with Global Category Presidents to translate business priorities into scalable growth systems that seamlessly integrate media, creators, retail media, commerce, technology, and consumer experiences.
- Lead Media Innovation & Emerging Capabilities by championing the adoption of AI, agentic solutions, creator ecosystems, commerce-enabled media, and emerging technologies.
- Drive experimentation and innovation that stretches beyond traditional media practices.
- Transform audience intelligence, behavioural insights and cultural understanding into actionable grow opportunities.
- Support the Agency Ecosystem by partnering with media, creative, digital, influencer, commerce, and technology partners to co-create audience base, data driven, integrated, future-ready connected communication strategic ecosystems.
- Ensure all partners work toward a cohesive strategic vision that strengthens consumer connections and delivers short and long term business impact.
- Push the use of analytics, attribution, MMM, UMM, predictive modeling and machine-assisted decision systems.
- Enable Global Scale & Market Adoption by translating global media strategies into clear frameworks, playbooks, and capabilities.
- Ensure a balance between global consistency and local relevance, embedding and scaling best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Mastery in digital-first, growth-oriented businesses, driving revenue through influencer marketing and commerce solutions.
- Backgrounds in entrepreneurial companies are preferred.
- Expertise in Audience-First Planning/Consumer data strategy.
- Expertise in Influencer and creator ecosystem.
- Expertise in Retail Media and commerce/social commerce ecosystem.
- Expertise in Data-Driven Marketing and consumer intelligence.
- Expertise in AI and Marketing Applications.
- Expertise in Agentic Workflows & Intelligent Automation.
