Responsibilities
- Safeguards assets and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Directs the coordination of the annual budget process for all operating subsidiaries, including developing procedures and guidelines for company executives.
- Directs the preparation and distribution of monthly consolidating and consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develops policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency and proper controls.
- Manages all treasury management functions for all companies, including the parent and all subsidiaries.
- Oversees daily AML activity in collaboration with the Financial Gaming and Control Manager.
- Oversees AML training in collaboration with the Financial Gaming and Control Manager.
- Reviews all legally required Federal and State tax returns and filings within required deadlines.
- Directs the analysis, review, and presentation of quarterly and year-end financial results to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborates with external auditors and attorneys to efficiently complete required external reports.
- Works closely with lenders to ensure compliance with all terms of any loan agreements.
- Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, counseling, and other personnel-related matters are handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.
- Facilitates and ensures yearly performance reviews for all employees within the department are completed.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Possesses necessary communication skills in both verbal and written aspects to properly relay corporate inquiry relative to financial planning and record keeping.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to access and input information into a computer.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission.

Experience Level
- Five (5) years’ experience in an accounting/financial management area
- Three (3) years in a supervisory capacity
Education Level
- BA/BS in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation or MBA preferred
