About the Role
At-Bay is the world's first InsurSec provider, combining industry-leading insurance with cybersecurity technology to offer end-to-end prevention and protection for businesses facing cyber risk. This role is critical in managing cyber incidents, evaluating coverage, and fostering relationships to improve products and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve cyber incidents.
- Evaluate coverage for claims and draft coverage letters.
- Build strong relationships across the company and advise underwriting and risk functions on claims trends.
- Foster a feedback loop with underwriting and security teams to improve products and the automated underwriting engine.
- Cultivate strong relationships with brokers and insureds, delivering excellent service.
- Evaluate and manage exposure for cyber incidents and third-party litigation.
- Develop strategies for handling third-party litigation for cyber and technology claims.
- Report significant claims to management.
- Proactively evaluate and set reserves.
- Focus on continuous improvement in claims handling and in connection with underwriting and security feedback loops.
Requirements
- Knowledge of current cyber trends and an endless curiosity for what comes next.
- A sense of humor and a healthy dose of humility.
- Desire to have an impact beyond managing claims by collaborating across the company to understand insureds' risks and improve underwriting technology and products.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of credibly speaking to clients and partners regarding cyber incidents and At-Bay’s value.
