About the Role
The Business Analyst will manage contractor payment applications and facilitate contract permitting during closeout for Stage IV construction contracts, supporting the Manager of Contract Administration and the Chief and Deputy Chief of Construction.
Responsibilities
- Review and process contractor payment applications and supporting documents, including change orders, conversions, field items, and desk audits.
- Communicate with various Engineering Divisions and Agency departments, including Comptrollers, Procurement, and Line facilities, to execute payment processing.
- Coordinate and assist with processing construction project closeout documents, such as Completion of Work Memos, Certificates of Final Completion, and Certificates of Total Compensation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in office engineering and/or administration work with principal experience in administration of construction contracts.
- Demonstrated experience with programs SAP/AVM.
- Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a SWAC or TWIC high-level background check.
