About the Role
Responsible for managing a team that sells business system products and services including printers, copiers, facsimile equipment, and document management solutions. This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Dallas, TX or The San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of sales representatives who sell Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions.
- Trains, develops, and coaches current and new sales representatives.
- Achieves 100% of quota through management of a team.
- Sets clear goals and ensures deadlines are met.
- Responsible for interviewing, conducting performance reviews, monthly plan and reviews, submitting accurate forecasts, and ride days with representatives.
- Maintains proficiency in product and promotional knowledge.
- Maintains and manages all assigned company assets.
- Completes all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7 years of related experience and management of typically two or more regular full-time employees.
- Progressive responsibility in sales, industry, and marketing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors.
- May require up to 10% travel.
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must reside in the United States at the time of hire.
- The Company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship.
