About the Role
As Team Lead, Operations, you will support all Operations related aspects of a specific Sephora store location, including direct management of all members of the Operations team. You will regularly support in areas such as staffing of the operations, overnight stock team, operations leadership team and the overall execution of Sephora.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operations of the store, ensuring execution of all operations-focused processes per company standard.
- Manage the inventory of the store, including shipping, receiving, returning merchandise, and cycle counting within company guidelines.
- Manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals according to company standards.
- Manage cleaning crews, ensuring adherence to standards through feedback, coaching, and escalation.
- Manage the process of maintaining appropriate budget and quantity of supplies, testers, and samples.
- Participate in performance management for the operations team, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.
- Act as the Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
- Develop budget strategies by demonstrating a strong understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in a similar role at a similar volume store or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide feedback.
- Demonstrated strong store operations skills.
- Demonstrated effective time management and problem-solving skills.
