About the Role

Join the World's Largest Midas Franchisee, now part of the Mavis Tire Family, as a full-time Assistant & Service Manager in Syracuse, NY. This role supports store operations, customer satisfaction, and team leadership in a state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and effective retail location operations.
• Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Schedule mechanics/technicians' work.
• Manage outside orders.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs.
• Meet customer expectations.
• Ensure the safety of team members.
• Assist customers with tire selections.
• Recommend necessary under-car repair services.
• Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
• Stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.
• Communicate directly with customers.
• Assess customer needs.
• Provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience.
• Strive to meet customer expectations.
• Drive sales initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Value dependability, teamwork, and providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.
