About the Role

Seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Americas team, ensuring high standards for value, efficiency, and quality. This role is crucial for guiding cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of banking and financial technology initiatives. Ideal for an experienced professional with a client-centric approach and a background in managing technology projects within the IT/software industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate programs and projects across a strongly federated organization.
  • Ensure strong communication and clarity between technical and non-technical team members.
  • Manage technical projects and programs from inception to completion.
  • Manage dependencies, vendor relationships, and cross-team ticketing processes.
  • Navigate uncertainty and ambiguity with confidence and strategic thinking.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring commitment to delivery timelines.
  • Guide in AI SDLC tooling adoption and efficiencies.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, focusing on quality assurance improvements.
  • Coordinate integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
  • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of automated test systems and scripts.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to enhance functional and non-functional testing protocols.
  • Mentor and guide other SDETs in best practices, thought leadership, and career development.
  • Program execution in Fintech industry / heavily regulated environments.
  • Act as the main point of contact for 2-3+ Clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Identify, articulate, and build new project opportunities in partnership with the Portfolio VP.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Monitor contract performance and conduct regular reviews.
  • Plan and report financial progress.
  • Resolve financial and billing issues.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project management process for multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues in real-time.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing technology programs or projects, preferably in a fast-paced consulting IT/software environment.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies or similar frameworks (a.k.a. scrum master, PM, PO, etc) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English at an advanced level, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, involving both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
