About the Role

Partnerships are a strategic growth channel for Gusto. As a Partner Enablement Manager, you will be instrumental in making these partnerships extraordinary and impactful to Gusto's business. You will own the end-to-end enablement strategy for our channel partner ecosystem, designing and delivering onboarding, continuous education, certification programs, and just-in-time resources. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution, comfort with ambiguity, influencing without authority, and rapidly building scalable programs.

Responsibilities

  • Define Gusto's partner enablement methodology and establish frameworks, principles, and standards for other enablement and channel teams.
  • Serve as the internal authority on partner learning strategy, advising senior leadership on enablement investment, program design, and partner activation.
  • Own function-level accountability for partner enablement outcomes, including partner-sourced revenue contribution, partner activation rates, and program ROI.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on partner enablement strategy across Revenue, Revenue Operations, Product, and Marketing at the VP and Director level.
  • Design and deliver education programs, certification tracks, and just-in-time resources tailored to the specific professional needs of partners.
  • Monitor the industry, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics, translating emerging trends into proactive enablement strategies.
  • Research and apply emerging AI tools and methodologies to accelerate program design, development, and delivery at scale.

Requirements

  • 10-12+ years of experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, or professional training.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering highly effective enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead learning initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversight.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training sessions for professional audiences.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Solid foundation in education design.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, curation, and knowledge management platforms.
  • Comfort operating in urgency and ambiguity, with resilience, conflict management skills, and composure.
