About the Role
The Special Events Coordinator supports the Director of Special Events and Marketing in executing strategic vision for departmental and institution-wide events. This role involves development, operational planning, implementation, and evaluation of events engaging faculty, students, and community constituencies. The Coordinator will act as a liaison to the Health System Special Events Department and collaborate with various leadership teams to conceptualize and oversee event execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director in the execution of strategic vision for departmental and institution-wide events.
- Develop, operationally plan, implement, and evaluate departmental and institution-wide events.
- Engage faculty, students, and community constituencies through events.
- Serve as the liaison to the Health System Special Events Department for institution-wide events.
- Collaborate with Deans’ staff and leaders to conceptualize special events.
- Oversee all aspects of event implementation to ensure quality and alignment with Medical School goals and policies.
