About the Role
SSA Steriquip is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to service critical medical equipment used in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. This is a fully field-based role where you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install sterilization and infection prevention equipment that healthcare providers rely on every day.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain sterilization and infection prevention equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, installations, and equipment upgrades.
- Collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, and Service Management to resolve complex issues.
- Document service work using mobile technology and service management software.
- Build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and support company growth.
- Travel throughout your assigned territory to support customer needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Four (4)+ years of professional work experience, including at least two (2) years in a mechanical or technical role.
- Associate degree, technical certifications, OEM training, or military technical experience may substitute for some experience.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing, background check, and physical assessment requirements.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Windows, email, mobile apps, and data entry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, early mornings, evenings, or overnight travel as business needs require.
- Self-starter with a strong ownership mentality.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Mechanically inclined and hands-on.

- $65,000–$75,000 Base Salary + Overtime + Bonus Opportunities
