About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator – Lateral Associates is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. This role supports lateral associate recruitment by overseeing application processing, interview logistics, and candidate communications. Responsibilities include maintaining records, overseeing vendor relationships, developing marketing strategies and onboarding plans, and coordinating with the Associate Recruiting Manager to develop and implement recruitment strategies and organize recruiting events. This is a new opportunity supporting the continued growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in all phases of the recruitment process, including processing applications, coordinating interview schedules, and managing onboarding logistics
- Maintaining and updating candidate records, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with firm policies
- Preparing and disseminating marketing materials, statistics, and progress reports to support recruitment efforts
- Supporting the management of search firm and vendor relationships, tracking agreements, and ensuring competitive fee rates
- Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
- Exhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels and work well in a team, with a customer-service focus
- Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
- Possess strong analytical skills with minimal supervision, and attention to detail for quality assurance
- Possess organizational skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, and interview platforms

Salary/Compensations
- USD $75,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
