Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for efficient sales floor placement.
• Manage the setup and maintenance of store section displays, ensuring accurate signage and proper promotion highlighting according to corporate guidelines.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash security, locking, alarm setting, and daily operational readiness.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and issue resolution.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Support associate onboarding and training on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Execute the market plan by arranging products and signage per corporate guidelines, ensuring proper display and regular updates of promotional materials.
• Ensure the execution of the company's Inventory Integrity process.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Skills

• Operate cash register
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
• Place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Ascend/descend ladders
• Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
• Communicate and exchange information with customers
• Exchange accurate information with managers and coworkers
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
