About the Role
This position requires a desire for success, strong work ethic, and aspirations for career development in commercial real estate. It involves handling complex transactions and interacting with owners, C-suite executives, and high-level corporate real estate decision-makers. The role reports to Senior Team Leaders and participates in all aspects of evaluation, negotiation, and strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Attend JLL University (13-week training, development, and networking program for new Associate Brokers).
- Support senior brokers in initiating business development activities and outreach to new leads.
- Work with senior brokers on new business proposals, prepare property summary books, and create presentations.
- Develop client materials, including lease comparisons, market overviews, and prospect/client presentations.
- Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation.
- Provide clients with industry and market-specific information.
- Maintain contact information on prospects.
- Contribute to local market research requests, including market snapshots, overviews, and quarterly decks.
- Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models.
Requirements
- A minimum of 0 – 4 (+) years of commercial real estate or business-to-business sales experience.
- Demonstrable success in business development and sales production.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
- State Real Estate License (must have within 90 days of hire).
- Preferred previous experience in corporate real estate, consulting, or finance.
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals is a plus.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
