About the Role
The Universal Banker is an entry-level position focused on assisting with sales, product, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The primary objective is to build customer loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
- Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
- Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Refer opportunities to segment partners.
- Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Support sales/service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, and promotional campaigns.
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding assets.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
